G-MEN RAY GUN - MASUDAYA - JAPANEarly Japan. A stubby tin lithographed space gun, a cross between a gun and a rifle. This is very similar to the Masudaya Ray Gun complete with the Native American Indian chief's head on the wood effect stock. The gun combines G Men, space and western themes. Wind up mechanism , the gun makes a noise and sparks when the trigger is pulled. The plain card box with paper label. Western crossover. Gangster crossover.

LION STAR MACHINE GUN - YONEZAWA - JAPANAn early lithographed tinplate machine gun. The brightly colored gun has a rifle stock with a large lion printed on the side and the wording Lion Star. In the center a crank is attached to the side; turning it produces a firing noise. Slender black barrel. 1950s.

The gun dismantles for storage: the wood-effect stock separates from the body.

RAY GUN - MASUDAYA - JAPANEarly Japan. A strange stubby blue tin lithographed space gun, a cross between a gun and a rifle. The naive shape is made even odder by the addition of a Native American Indian chief's head on the handle: as usual the gun is trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. Wind up mechanism , the gun makes a noise and sparks when the trigger is bulled. The plain card box with paper label has a distinctive face of a puzzled looking boy on it. Cowboy Western crossover.

The gun has a TN logo on the stock and the box carries a KDP inside a stylised S logo.
