Sparky Robot ) by Yoshiya (KO) is perhaps the most common of the primitive style robots, though this one is not so early. Sparky is a simple wind-up robot in a plain silver finish. A sparking mechanism in its head allows the eyes to light up.

Basic Sparky

The box art is superb, showing our little Sparky as a giant wandering the streets of an apparently war-torn city. Sparky might be cheap, but his highly lithoed relatives will set you back a lot more.

Regular Sparky Box

There is an interesting box variation featuring a figure with a gun. This is the so-called Detective box. There are two versions of this rarer box with minor differences between them.
